BC Premier Christy Clark is lobbying the prime minister to strengthen the feds oil spill response strategy on the West Coast. She says coastal BC is at risk when it comes to oil spills. Clark says we have thousands of ships carrying oil and fuel up and down our coast every day, some of them carrying bitumen, and we do not have the spill response that we need to protect us. Two weeks ago a tug boat ran aground near Bella Bella spilling thousands-of-litres of fuel.
