Campbell River RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect following a string of robberies. Constable Jackelynn Biller says three local businesses were targeted. On October 15th,the Campbell River Lodge liquor store was robbed, on October 22nd, the Big Rock Liquor Store was hit,and on October 26th, there was an attempted robbery at the Jolly Giant convenience store. In all three cases, the suspect is described as a male wearing dark clothing, sunglasses,and produced a knife on the store employees. Police believe all three cases and a recent robbery in a Courtenay Subway may be connected. Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or Crimestoppers.
