Campbell River RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit and run. Constable Sara Clark says on November 5th at approximately 8:00 pm, a cyclist involved hit and run occurred on the corner of 9th Ave and Alder St. The cyclist was riding north on Alder St when a truck turned left onto 9th Ave, striking the cyclist and throwing him off his bicycle. The driver stopped momentarily, then fled the scene. The cyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance and suffered minor injuries. The vehicle is believed to be a 2001-2005 Ford Ranger or B series with damage to the left front corner signal light area. Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or Crimestoppers.
