Vancouver Island Association of Family Councils is Lobbying for More Family Say in Senior Care

Vancouver Island Association of Family Councils is lobbying the province to see that families have more say when it comes to the care of seniors.  Chair Kim Slater says it’s done in other provinces.  “But in BC there are no such regulatory languages that guarantee that opportunity for family councils to participate in these kind of discussions,” Slater continues. Slater says family councils should be given the chance to offer feedback on issues that affect seniors.
