Gold-medal-winning Paralympic athlete and B-C politician Michelle Stilwell is retiring from athletic competition. She made the announcement Wednesday night, tweeting that, at 42, it’s time to quit. Stilwell says she decided over Christmas that she wants to spend more time with her husband and son. The wheelchair racer is the first Canadian Paralympian to win gold in two different sports, and she captured two gold medals at the games in Brazil last summer.
