Alberta has ended it’s two-week-long ban on B-C wine imports. The truce in the ongoing dispute between the two provinces came yesterday after B-C Premier John Horgan announced that his government will ask the courts if it has the right to restrict diluted bitumen shipments through the province. Horgan says the move is not about B-C backing down, but about allowing cooler heads to prevail. Alberta Premier Rachel Notley says her government has left its options open in case the legal challenge is part of a strategy to harass the pipeline and its investors.
