Nanaimo police were called to attend a strange attack on two children and their daycare operator. Police say a two-year-old sheep named Moses slipped through a hole in a neighbouring pen and then charged the children and an adult female. All three were knocked to the ground and, while not seriously injured, they were transported to hospital for a precautionary assessment. Police say the owner of the sheep was upset and remorseful for the actions of one of her animals and has taken corrective measures to make sure Moses doesn’t escape again.
