The first funeral will be held Thursday for one of the 16 people whose lives were lost in Friday’s highway crash near Tisdale, Saskatchewan involving the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team’s bus. Family and friends of 29-year-old Tyler Bieber, who was a radio announcer and the team’s play-by-play announcer, are to gather at the Elgar Petersen Arena where the Broncos played their home games. Two other funerals are scheduled for Friday. Jacob Leicht will be laid to rest in Humboldt, and Adam Herold, who would’ve turned 17, will have his funeral in his hometown of Montmartre.
