U-S President Donald Trump has been taking more swipes at Canada and Prime Minister Trudeau over trade issues as he settles in for his Singapore summit with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. Trump had just left the G-7 summit in Quebec when he withdrew his endorsement of the summit’s final comminique and insulted Trudeau as “dishonest” and “weak.” In tweets from Singapore overnight, Trump kept up the tirade contending that “Fair Trade is now to be called Fool Trade if it is not Reciprocal.” Two of Trump’s top advisers also attacked Trudeau for repeating his criticism of new U-S tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum. Larry Kudlow said Trudeau made Trump look weak ahead of his North Korea summit, and Peter Navarro said there was a “special place in hell” for Trudeau.
