B-C Ferries says figures show the service had the highest level of passenger traffic in two decades during the last fiscal year. The company says vehicle traffic also broke records, leading to consolidated net earnings of 59.9 million dollars. It says in a release that there were 11-hundred and 90 more round trips compared with the previous year, due to stronger demand. President Mark Collins says the strong fiscal performance means B-C Ferries can increase service, buy new vessels and offer discounts.
