A man accused of sending a mail bomb to his brother in Port Alice has died after going into medical distress while in custody in Whitehorse. Yukon’s chief coroner say 73-year-old Leon Nepper was taken to hospital yesterday but died later in the day. The R-C-M-P and the coroner are investigating the death. Nepper was facing four charges including attempted murder after his brother Roger Nepper lost several fingers on his right hand when he opened the package at his home in Port Alice on September 11th.
