Elections B-C says ballots are starting to trickle in for the province’s referendum on electoral reform. It says the initial mailout of referendum voting packages is now complete and so far it has received back just over 22-thousand — 0.7 per cent of total of eligible voters. The deadline for Elections B-C to receive the completed voting packages is 4;30 p.m. on November 30th. Elections B-C says rotating strikes by Canada Post workers have so far not materially impacted the referendum timing but it continues to monitor the situation closely and can extend the voting period if necessary.
