97.3 The Eagle's 2011 Variety Radiothon


Ryan Mennie from 97.3 The Eagle and his Daughter Reina handing over boxes of 'Buddy Bears' from the 3rd Anuual Variety Children's Radiothon, to Stacey Marsh, Executive Director of the Campbell River Hospital Foundation! Each bear has a wristband featuring the name given to it by it's donor! The bears will be given to children as an extra boost of encouragement and support as they receive treatment!

Cumberland Empire Days


 It was a great turn out on Victoria Day for the Cumberland Empire Days parade! The Eagle Community Cruiser was proud to be a part of the parade AND the weather even cooperated!!!!

St. Patrick's Day 2011 brought some fun to the Eagle listeners. ShamRick McYurkewich, our Eagle misfit Leprechaun, and Big Steve O'Rossner took to the streets with gifts of gold, and green. 3 people with the 'luck of the Irish' on their side walked away with cheques for $97.3.
