Work on the Dunsmuir Avenue reconstruction project in Cumberland is nearing completion. Village Chief Administrative Officer Sundance Topham says the last of the paving is dependent on the weather. “We were lucky enough to have a 3 day window this week where we got a lot of the paving completed and we have about a block and a half of work left to do,” states Topham. He says “If everything goes well, they’re suppose to wrap up the utilities this week between 2nd and 3rd. Then we just need a window of decent weather to finish the paving.” Topham says the hope is to have the project wrapped up by early December.
