Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the federal government is drawing the line at marijuana when it comes to legalizing illicit drugs. During a visit to Victoria on Thursday, Trudeau said legalizing marijuana will keep young people safe and take money away from criminal gangs. He says the government plans to introduce legislation by the summer to legalize pot, but it has no plans to do so for any other substances. Trudeau is scheduled to take part in a roundtable discussion in Vancouver on Friday about B-C’s opioid crisis.
