Some bags of Robin Hood flour sold in British Columbia and the Prairies are being recalled due to possible E. coli contamination. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says Smucker Foods of Canada is recalling the 10-kilogram bags of all-purpose flour with the best before date of April 17th, 2018. The agency says the flour should be thrown out or returned to the store where it was purchased. Symptoms of E. coli illness include nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps and diarrhea and in severe cases can lead to seizures, strokes or kidney damage.
