A union official says two workers who were injured when a train went off the tracks north of Campbell River last week will recover. Jack Miller with United Steelworkers Local 1-1937 says one of the men has undergone multiple surgeries after his legs were crushed and the other man is recovering from unspecified injuries at home. Three other workers were killed when the Western Forest Products train derailed, spilling a load of logs. The Transportation Safety Board, R-C-M-P and WorkSafe B-C are all conducting investigations into the crash.
