Wildfires have begun sprouting up across the province along with the rising temperatures this weekend. B-C Wildfire Service says the latest blaze was discovered yesterday 20 kilometres west of Tatla Lake and 200 kilometres west of Williams Lake. Airtankers, helicopters and firefighters were sent to battle the fire that was estimated to be six hectares in size. Crews are also working to control fires near 100 Mile House and Houston.
