Former premier Christy Clark says she’s done with public life and doesn’t have any plans to re-enter politics in the future. The 51-year-old made the comments in her last news conference yesterday, days after announcing that she will step down as leader of the B-C Liberals and resign as an M-L-A, effective this Friday. Clark says she’s been thinking of leaving her job since the election on May 9th, when her party won a slim minority government that was later defeated in a confidence vote. As for the future, Clark says she has no immediate career plans but will focus on gardening and getting her teenage son Hamish to do his homework.
