The race to lead the B-C Liberals is expected to grow a bit more crowded. Former cabinet members Mike Bernier and Andrew Wilkinson are each making “special announcements” in Vancouver, where they’re expected to say that they’ll run for the party’s leadership. On Sunday, South Surrey-White Rock M-P Dianne Watts announced her candidacy for the job, saying she’ll resign her seat in the House of Commons to focus on the race. Vancouver M-L-A Sam Sullivan is also running to replace former premier Christy Clark as the Liberal leader, and several others are still expected to enter the contest.
