A Transportation Safety Board spokeswoman says wreckage from a helicopter crash on Vancouver Island will be examined to determine if mechanical failure was involved. She says a team of investigators were at the crash site west of Campbell River yesterday and the wreckage has been moved to a hangar in Richmond for more investigation. The spokeswoman says the flight path, pilot’s control and weather will also be looked at. The single-engine Robinson 44 helicopter crashed into heavy bush on Sunday, killing one of the two people on board.
