Three Comox Valley high schools will reopen their doors to students on Friday following a security scare that prompted a closure. The trio of schools were closed by the Comox Valley School District after police said one of them was not safe. However, they have not yet offered any information about the danger or hazard, instead deferring until the R-C-M-P investigation is complete. Dean Lindquist, the district’s superintendent, called the incident “unprecedented” and noted that it was the first time more than one school was impacted by a safety issue.
