The B-C government gets back to work in the legislature today with the N-D-P government setting out its agenda in a throne speech. Premier John Horgan says his minority government will work on making life more affordable for residents this session and won’t waver from its focus on affordable housing and child-care programs despite the heated dispute with Alberta over the 7.4-billion dollar Trans Mountain pipeline project. Today will also mark Andrew Wilkinson’s first appearance in the legislature as the new Libearl leader. A byelection will be held tomorrow to fill Kelowna West riding, vacated by former Liberal premier Christy Clark.
