Premier John Horgan says his meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Alberta Premier Rachel Notley did nothing to end his ongoing efforts to protect the B-C coast. Horgan, Notley and Trudeau met on Sunday on Parliament Hill in hopes of finding a solution to the impasse between the two provinces over the expansion of the Trans Mountain pipeline. Trudeau says the federal government is pursuing legislative and financial measures to push the project forward. Horgan says B-C will continue to pursue court action including a constitutional reference case to determine who has jurisdiction to permit the pipeline to cross B-C.
