The B-C government is putting together an enforcement unit to deal with illegal pot dispensaries. Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth says the Community Safety Unit will have stations in several areas of the province, and a staff of 44 people. He says the unit will consist of public safety ministry employees, and they will not be in uniform or carry weapons. He says they will levy administrative penalties up to twice the value of the products seized.
