A criminal investigation by the R-C-M-P has led to two key figures at the B-C legislature to be placed on paid leave. N-D-P House Leader Mike Farnworth introduced a motion at the end of question period this morning announcing that clerk Craig James and sergeant-at-arms Gary Lenz were being placed on administrative leave. The R-C-M-P confirmed it is aware of what happened at the legislature and it has an active investigation underway “with respect to allegations pertaining to their administrative duties.” The Mounties would not provide any other details of their investigation, which is being overseen by two special prosecutors who were appointed on October 1st
