Canada Post isn’t making any promises on whether parcels mailed before Christmas will actually reach their destination on time. The Crown corporation says five weeks of rotating strikes that ended last month have left a six-million-package backlog, and it has suspended its delivery window guarantee as a result. The Canadian Union of Postal Employees says the job action did not cause any backlog.
