Canadian gameshow host Alex Trebek is fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The long-time host of “Jeopardy” announced the news in a video posted on the quiz show’s YouTube channel. The 78-year-old, who was born in Sudbury, Ontario, admits the prognosis for the type of cancer he has is not usually very encouraging. But he pledges that he’s “going to fight this” and “keep working.”
