Several seafood producers from B-C are among 100 from across Canada who are heading to Boston for The Seafood Expo, described as the largest trade exposition of its kind in North America. The two-day expo begins Sunday and a news release from Fisheries and Oceans Canada says it will attract thousands of seafood buyers from around the world. The department says Canadian exports of fish and seafood increased to almost seven billion dollars last year. Lobster amounted to almost two-billion dollars of those exports, but Atlantic salmon, snow and queen crab, as well as shrimp also formed the bulk of the exports.
