The B-C government says it’s reducing the per-vehicle amount of its rebate for residents who buy new clean energy vehicles, in order to meet ongoing demand. The rebate is now three-thousand-dollars for certain longer-range plug-in hybrid vehicles, down from five-thousand, while the rebate for shorter-range plug-in hybrids is now 15-hundred dollars, down from 25-hundred. But clean energy vehicles purchased or reserved prior to June 22nd will still be covered by the previous rules and rebates
