Coastal Fire Centre crews are working to suppress a 3.1-hectare wildfire burning just north of Highway 4, near the Hump.
Information Officer Dorta Jacobsen says the blaze is not threatening any structures or infrastructure at this time.
Jacobsen says 25 firefighters, 2 medium helicopters and 5 pieces of heavy equipment are on the scene today.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation but is believed to be human-caused.
