A probable vaping-related illness has been diagnosed in B-C and provincial medical health officer doctor Bonnie Henry says there are several cases in the province being investigated for the same sickness. Henry says the illness is quickly emerging as a significant public health issue, turning back to the clock on decades of anti-smoking efforts. Less than a month ago, doctors in B-C were asked to report incidences of patients who used e-cigarettes and showed signs of the lung illness. All details of the first person diagnosed in B-C will remain confidential.
