B-C’s Health Minister says everything about a data breach at LifeLabs is troubling. But Adrian Dix says the company has taken steps to prevent a future data breach, after hiring world-leading experts. LifeLabs announced yesterday that hackers gained access to the personal information of up to 15 million customers. Dix says LifeLabs does about one third of all lab testing in B-C and the government learned on November 7th that customers in B-C had been affected.
