B-C health authorities say they’re monitoring the situation after the coronavirus deaths of six people in Washington state. Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says there is no evidence of widespread transmission of the virus. Henry says Canadians who’ve recently travelled across the border into Washington state do not need to contact public health officials — unless they feel sick. B-C currently has eight confirmed cases, with four patients recovered and the others in self-isolation at home
