The B-C government has announced new measures to ensure international travellers self-isolate when they return to the province. Premier John Horgan says as of Friday, travellers are legally required to present plans outlining how they will safely stay isolated for fourteen days. Air travellers without approved plans will be taken to a quarantine site until they can make proper arrangements. Those arriving at land crossings without adequate plans will be sent directly home and officials will follow up to ensure they have supports needed to self-isolate.
