B-C’s provincial health officer Doctor Bonnie Henry reported 45 new cases of COVID-19 and 11 deaths on Monday. That means there have been one-thousand-four-hundred-and-ninety cases so far, including 69 people who have died. Henry says 137 people are in hospital, including 58 in intensive care. Henry praised the efforts of most people in B-C to curb the spread of the virus, noting that B-C Ferries reported an 80 per cent decrease in vehicle traffic over the Easter long weekend compared to last year.
