Premier John Horgan says Dr. Bonnie Henry has signed off on a proposal that would allow Vancouver to be a hub city if NHL play resume this year. The plan involves modifying COVID-19 quarantine rules to allow members of teams to remain together at a hotel as a family or bubble instead of individually. Horgan says teams would travel together to Rogers Arena for games in private transportation and could not interact with the public during a 14-day period. Vancouver is one of 10 cities in the running to become one of two hubs if NHL games resume this summer — with the league set to announce a decision later this month.
