B-C is following through on a promise to try to stop young people from vaping with new regulations that prevent the sale of products that taste like anything but nicotine. Health Minister Adrian Dix says the sale of flavoured nicotine vapour products will now be restricted to adult-only shops. He says vaping can be a form of harm reduction for a lifetime smoker, but for young people under the age of 19, vaping causes harm. Dix says the changes introduced by the province are in accordance with standards in the European Union, which has seen success in limiting the use of vaping products by youth.
