The federal and provincial governments are taking steps to increase affordable housing in B-C. Federal Social Development Minister Jean-Yves Duclos and B-C’s Housing Minister Selina Robinson made the announcement this morning in Vancouver. They say the 10-year pact will provide just under one billion dollars to build, repair and protect social housing and affordable units across the region. Costs will be shared by both levels of government.
