A 73-year-old Whitehorse man returns to court in Yukon later this week as he faces two charges related to a mail bomb that seriously injured his brother. Leon Nepper made a brief court appearance on Tuesday, less than a week after Roger Nepper was seriously hurt and lost several fingers of his right hand when a package exploded on September 11th as he opened it at his Port Alice home. A Yukon judge has been told the case against Leon Nepper is complicated because it involves investigations in Yukon and B-C, and the Crown lawyer handling the case says more charges could be laid. A motive for the mail bombing has not been offered.
