B-C Hydro says December’s massive windstorm demonstrated improvements it needs in order to be ready for future outages. A new report from the Crown corporation says this storm highlighted the need to have customer service representatives for face-to-face communications in the hardest hit communities. It also wants to work with cities to prioritize getting electricity back to major intersections and primary traffic routes. It says B-C Hydro remains focused on preparing for storm season year-round.
