Expelled Liberal Members

              Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says trust has been broken between two of his former cabinet ministers and his Liberal team. And with that, he announced last night he has expelled Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott from caucus and will not allow them to run as Liberal candidates in this fall’s federal election. Trudeau cited a phone conversation Wilson-Raybould had with the former clerk of the Privy Council concerning the S-N-C-Lavalin file that she secretly recorded. And he said Philpott was ejected because she declared she had lost confidence in him personally over the handling of the S-N-C affair.
