The Weather Network is forecasting a summer of starkly different weather patterns across the country. Chief meteorologist Chris Scott says most of western Canada will continue to be gripped by wildfires, while Ontario and Quebec can expect to remain in a wet weather pattern with heavy rain at times and a heightened risk of flash flooding in some areas. Scott says this summer generally won’t be remembered for its heat — except for B-C, which he’s calling, “the king of the heat this summer.”
