The B-C government is looking for consumer input on cellphone bills as part of its review of provincial consumer protection laws. The online survey runs through July 5th and the province says stakeholders groups and the telecom industry will also be invited to participate. The province says the survey will be used to improve transparency in cellphone billing in BC — and also to push the federal government for more affordable cellphone options in the province. But the Liberals say cell phone billing is a matter of federal jurisdiction and Premier John Horgan is wasting taxpayer dollars on expensive studies to create the illusion he is doing something.
