R-C-M-P say two confirmed sightings on Monday and no reports of stolen vehicles in the northern Manitoba community of Gillam lead them to believe two teenagers suspected in the deaths of three people are still in the area. Police from across Western Canada and Ontario are involved in the manhunt for 18-year-old Bryer Schmegelsky (shmuh-GEHL’-skee) and 19-year-old Kam McLeod, which the Mounties say is focused on the dense, swampy forest. The two are charged in the death of University of British Columbia lecturer Leonard Dyck, and are suspects in the deaths of a tourist couple.
