The federal government says it has chartered a plane to bring home Canadians on board the Grand Princess cruise ship anchored off the coast of California. The ship is carrying 35-hundred people, including 237 Canadians, and it’s expected to dock in Oakland, California. U-S Vice-President Mike Pence said Friday that at least 21 people aboard the ship, including 19 crew members, have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The chartered plane will bring the Canadian passengers from San Francisco to Canadian Forces Base Trenton in Ontario, where they will be quarantined for two weeks.
