Parliament will reconvene this week to deal with the pandemic crisis. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made the announcement during his daily briefing outside his Ottawa home. He also says the government is working with Canadian airlines to bring more Canadians home from abroad. Air Canada, WestJet and Air Transat are all arranging flights around the globe. The P-M also says Canada is not at the point where the federal government needs to take emergency measures to force people to stay home. Trudeau says the provinces and local governments continue to take steps to restrict people’s movements — and Ottawa stepping in is a last resort.
