B-C Ferries says anyone over the age of two will be required to have a face mask on routes longer than 30 minutes starting on June 15th. It says passengers will need to confirm they have a mask and are willing to wear it if necessary to protect against transmission of COVID-19. Those who don’t have a face covering won’t be able to board. It says it’s acting on directives from Transport Canada that require passengers to wear a mask when a physical separation of two metres can’t be maintained.
