A new federal program launching today will help students pay for their tuition this fall.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says students are facing unique challenges in trying to find a summer job because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He says the Canada Student Service Grant will let post-secondary students and recent grads get a grant of up to five-thousand-dollars, depending on how many hours they volunteer for COVID-19-related community projects.
