It appears to be the end of a long legal battle that four B-C First Nations were waging against the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion project.
This morning the Supreme Court of Canada said it would not hear their appeal.
As usual, no reason was given.
The bands are concerned about the impact the pipeline could have on drinking water, as well as its possible impact on marine life — especially highly endangered Southern Resident killer whales.
